Department Description

Accounting is the process of organizing, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions, in order to support the projects of institutions and to determine private and public income, as well as the costs of earning that income and the results achieved from projects, whether profit or loss, and to prepare financial statements and a general budget at the end of the financial period. Accounting holds great importance, particularly in the formation of small projects and private and public companies, as most project owners need an accountant from the very beginning of their operations to know their profits, losses, and their own budget.

One of the requirements for demonstrating the level of success of a company, organization, or bank is having a successful accounting employee.

The fundamentals of accounting and management are the core subjects of this department. Alongside these, studying English and Arabic and using computer programs are essential elements of successful accountants.

This department works to educate students in the Accounting Department with modern accounting science in a suitable way, one that aligns with the working environment of developed countries and matches the demands of the local job market.

Students in this department are introduced to the accounting techniques most commonly used in the private sector, such as corporate accounting, so that more job opportunities become available to graduates of this department within companies.

  • Graduates of the Accounting Department at Paitaxt Technical Institute, Private, in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, have their share in the Accounting Department and can continue their studies toward a Bachelor's degree.
  • Graduates of grade (12) of preparatory school (scientific, vocational, commercial) are admitted to the morning shift.
  • Annual tuition fees are paid in five (5) installments, according to the guidelines of our institute.

  • The duration of study in the Accounting Department is two (2) academic years (4 semesters), full time study.
