i Department Description

The Anesthesia Technology Department is one of the core medical sciences from a surgical standpoint, particularly in surgical medicine. Through anesthesia, a patient's consciousness and pain can be reduced for treatment purposes, making it possible to carry out surgical procedures that require sedation and the removal of the patient's sense of pain. The duration may be short or relatively long, but preparing the patient and administering anesthesia carries very particular importance for the success of the surgery.

Controlling and avoiding complications and problems that may arise during and after surgery is a key focus. Among these standards are preparing anesthetic medications, preventing the sensation of pain, and using artificial respiration devices, blood pressure monitors, heart rate monitors, and thermometers, along with a range of other tasks specific to this sacred profession.

The goal is to prepare a graduate capable of working in the operating room and intensive care unit, equipped with specialized scientific expertise in anesthesia medicine for work in hospitals. The department aims to prepare a competent, scientifically capable graduate specialized in anesthesia technology and intensive care, able to keep pace with developments in the field, by setting up a laboratory equivalent to the operating room and specialized intensive care unit found in hospitals.

• Graduates of grade (12) of preparatory school, scientific branch, are admitted.
• Annual tuition fees are paid in five (5) installments, according to the guidelines of our institute.

• The duration of study is two (2) years, and graduates of this department receive a technical diploma in Anesthesia Technology.
