Today, Thursday, 12-5-2022, a symposium was held on the occasion of International Nurses Day, organized by the Kurdistan Nursing Scientific Association and sponsored by Paitaxt Technical Institute.
At the same time, the panel was attended by the esteemed Dr. Saman Barzinji, Minister of Health of the Kurdistan Region, the esteemed P.Y.D. Sardar Mohammed Rashid, President of the Trusted Board, the esteemed Mr. Amanj Younis and Mr. Hawzhin Ahmed, Board Members, as well as the esteemed P.Y.D. Sarhang Qadir Surchi, Director of the Institute, the President of the Kurdistan Nursing Scientific Association, and a number of other health officials and doctors of the Region.
During the panel, many important topics and questions related to healthcare were discussed, in particular the role of nurses in hospitals, with valuable contributions from the Minister of Health.
In conclusion, tokens of appreciation from the Kurdistan Nursing Scientific Association and Paitaxt Technical Institute were presented to the attendees.
In addition, our Nursing Department students conducted a number of medical checks for the participants, including blood pressure, blood sugar tests, and other examinations, providing valuable practical service on this important occasion.
